When getting dressed feels like rock, paper, scissors vs. feeling upbeat & fun…it’s time to flip that script. If you’re super picky about outfits & often wear a ‘uniform’ look on repeat, the design principle ‘unity’ might be in your aesthetic style. But guess what?! ‘Unity’ is one of the most versatile principles because you choose how to unify your favorite design elements! In the AFTER outfits, I added layers over my dresses & jumpsuits by choosing items with vertical ‘lines’ & ‘space’ v necks/longsleeves/open buttons. Without having those design elements to focus on it would’ve NEVER crossed my mind. I haven’t worn these looks (except for the last one) before. THAT’s the power of knowing your aesthetic style, it’s like a math equation. It doesn’t matter what numbers you put in (ie type of clothing) when you have a formula (your aesthetic style) there’s a solution - everytime! This is what I teach in my YAS Stylist program - how to pinpoint your aesthetic style & use it to add your personal spin to outfit & home styling decisions. So you can say: ‘bye’ to second guessing your style choices ‘yas!’ to spontaneous dancing as new styling ideas keep flowing You’ve invested a lot into your personal style but following vague advice just amps doubt. With any formula, unclear input (generic tips) = unclear results (generic style). BUT when your input is clear & specific (design elements & principles you love MOST) the results are beautiful outfits that only YOU can create! Because no one thinks the way you do. 💗 Check out the VIBE class if you’re ready to tap into your aesthetic style and start using it today 🙌🏽
